The Heartbeat of Climate Action: Families, Love, Hope, and Our Kids’ Climate

I joined OKC in July last year, and since then I’ve had the privilege of meeting so many incredible parents who are taking action on climate. Every time I meet one of them, I get goosebumps. Despite their busy lives—managing households, caring for children, balancing demanding jobs; they still find time to advocate for a healthy, safe, and sustainable planet for all children.

Over the years, I have worn many hats and taken on different roles. Yet, if someone were to ask me what feels most special, what has shaped me the most, I would say without hesitation: it’s definitely facilitation.

Rebuilding Peace and Greens

Yesterday we observed the International Day of Peace, and today I find myself reflecting on what it truly means in the midst of our world’s challenges. In a time of famine, conflict, and climate crisis, I choose to stay hopeful, finding peace in the greens around me and strength in the work of regeneration. Let’s not be remembered as a silent generation, but as one that rebuilt peace and nature with love and courage.
