Yesterday we observed the International Day of Peace, and today I find myself reflecting on what it truly means in the midst of our world’s challenges. In a time of famine, conflict, and climate crisis, I choose to stay hopeful, finding peace in the greens around me and strength in the work of regeneration. Let’s not be remembered as a silent generation, but as one that rebuilt peace and nature with love and courage.

Reflecting on the journey I’ve been running as a young peacebuilder, a path built despite closed doors and missing chairs at the table. Let’s celebrate every moment, knowing that local youth actions are powerful steps toward achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
