My journey in peacebuilding started in 2008, when I joined the United Religions Initiative as a student volunteer and engaged in facilitating intercultural and interfaith dialogues. This journey laid a strong foundation for my dialogue facilitation work.

My understanding of peacebuilding deepened during my first international training on Moral Imagination, inspired by the work of John Paul Lederach.Â
During the conference, I met a participant from Sri Lanka who had survived the civil war. In one quiet conversation, she asked me a question that has stayed with me ever since: “Do you have clean and safe water to drink, and a home where you can live without fear?”
The real story begins there...

I further deepened my engagement in peacebuilding by serving as a URI Youth Ambassador, I attended the URI National Assembly and visited the Attari–Wagah border, where witnessing the enduring physical and emotional scars of the Partition profoundly reinforced my commitment to peacebuilding and conflict transformation.
Â

Visited Sri Lanka, where I presented a paper on Holy Books and Ecospirituality and learned how human relationships can transcend identities. Later that year, I attended an Intercultural Camp in South Korea and visited the borders, realizing the harshness of partitions and the urgent call to build bridges through peace.

Decided to pursue a Master’s in Peacebuilding and traveled to Costa Rica to study at the University for Peace.

On October 2, 2021—as a tribute to Mahatma Gandhi—I founded Ecopeace. We launched a six-month online program for teenagers, creating a vibrant space for dialogue and learning.

Focused on strengthening my knowledge and began planning Ecopeace, a platform to connect peace and climate action.

Hosted the Ecopeace Interfaith Summit, a month-long program with talk shows, interviews, musical performances, and training sessions in multiple languages.

Participated in COP 28 and facilitated multiple training programs, strengthening youth voices in global climate and peace conversations.

Elected as a Global Trustee of URI and joined the UNEP Faith for Earth Youth Council. Launched the Ecopeace Women Café to empower women as peacemakers. Began a new role as Community and Fellowship Manager at Our Kids Climate, connecting global youth climate advocates.

Started a newsletter, Echoes of Peace and Climate, and launched the Ecopeace Changemakers Café, continuing to build platforms where people can connect, share, and act for peace and sustainability.
