My Story
I am a compassionate leader working to build a just, sustainable, and peaceful world.
My journey began at a young age. From the time I was fourteen, I have spent time with people from many religious and cultural backgrounds. I was deeply inspired by the wisdom in different faith traditions and by how faith can bring people together and help make the world a better place.
At the same time, I felt pain seeing how religious misunderstanding and prejudice caused conflict and division. This made me want to become a bridge, someone who listens, encourages dialogue, and helps people come together with respect and care.
Over time, I found my calling at the meeting point of faith and climate action. Growing up in Kerala, I have seen the impact of climate change through floods, extreme weather, and the loss of lives. During these difficult moments, I have also witnessed something powerful. People come together with compassion and courage to help one another.
These experiences shaped my belief that faith communities have an important role beyond responding to disasters. I work to encourage faith leaders and communities to think ahead and take action on climate change, focusing on both prevention and preparation.
Laudato Si’ has guided my journey and strengthened my commitment to care for people and the Earth. Through my work, I seek to bring faith, justice, and climate action together to build a hopeful and caring future for all.
